Just a quick note about the filtering for your strobe power supply. I used

a dual pi network. For  those non electronics folks out there that means a

capacitor and inductor network in both the positive power lead AND the

negative lead as well. I also used shielded wire out to the wingtips. I

have NO strobe noise AT ALL in any of my radios. My supply is mounted on the

battery box which is behind the passenger seat. The power leads go forward

to the panel and through a breaker but the filter network I floxed right to

the battery box also. Hope this helps...

I am going to use a high voltage supply for each strobe, and mount it in

the wingtips right next to the strobe. This way I don't have to worry about

any noise radiated from the wiring, high voltage near the fuel tanks, high

voltage wiring, or shielded wiring. Any high voltage arcing would be

disastrous in my carbon fiber plane. It would burn up the fibers in the

area that arced. E-glass plane builders don't have to worry about this.

Problem solved
