Some of the units reported on did a great job, but were very large and not panel friendly. I just purchased a CO Guardian CO detector after seeing it advertised in AOPA. It plugs into the cigarette lighter on the panel and is about the size of a star tac cell phone (about 3" to 4" long X 21/2-3" wide), light weight and so far seems to work as advertised. The cost was about $150. www.COGuardian.com John Wright iv-p Colorado Springs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye [at] olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Post a Reply CO detectors Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 09/25/2002 - 16:17 From: Steve Reeves <sreeves [at] sc.rr.com> Sender: Marvin Kaye <marv [at] lancaironline.net> Subject: CO detectors Date: Wed, 25 Sep 2002 12:17:21 -0400 To: <lml> As far as a reliable and reasonably priced electronic CO detectors go...which one is the best bang for the buck.
