just a note to evolution owners
found the issue with the pilot door on the evo.
We replaced the handle with the new locking handle.
there is an additional Delrin transverse device that sits close to the mechanism and also a rubber stopper in the cavity
see picture enclosed.
I suspect the delrin device came off after take off and the rubber stopper was not replaced.
The result is that the handle falls into the external cavity and when the door lock is actuated from the inside then the handle locks in the outside inside the well and prevents the door from being opened from the inside but
is easily opened from the outside. so remember when replacing the door handle make sure that the delrin device is installed so it does not fall out and the rubber stopper also gets attached to the well. Otherwise you are locked in but able to egress from the baggage door or if a samaritan is willing to open the door from the outside. Just remember that the diagram in the handle is reversed (unlocked to the right when in reality locks to the right) .
see
picture attached. So it was operator error. evo N11TK
