I know what you're wondering. Why is this idiot wearing a leather jacket with shorts and flip flops? Fair question. The answer, of course, is no idiot (in Saint Louis) wears a leather jacket with LONG PANTS in July!

Seriously, the reason I'm posting this photo is because I wanted to tell everyone that I didn't buy this jacket; Lancair gave it to me! Note the Lancair logo on the breast. So now you're wondering why did Lancair give a really, really nice, high-quality leather bomber jacket to me instead of you. Because I won!

All I did was make a purchase (actually, I made LOTS of purchases, but you only have to make one) from Kit Components. In honor of its 30th Anniversary, Lancair is giving away a top-grain leather bomber jacket like this one, with a fold-down collar, comfort liner and adjustable cuffs, to one lucky Lancair customer each month this year. They'll even embroider your N number on it if you like.

So what are you waiting for? Go buy something at Kit Components! (If you don't need anything you can buy something for me. Let me know; I'll send you a list.)
