LOBO is pleased to announce that our annual EAA banquet will be held on Tuesday, July 26, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Best Western Premier Waterfront in downtown Oshkosh, WI. We have held this event for several years on the Thursday night of the EAA, and moved the date this year to earlier in the week in order to enable members to attend other functions on Thursday, such as the Gathering, which is typically held on Thursday evening. A no host bar will be set up at 5:00 p.m. and a buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. We invite all LOBO members, partners, and guests to attend and meet each other at the banquet. George Rosel, the LOBO president will update the group on the organization's activities, and Sandy Gainza, Director of Events, will provide a preview of the 2022 LOBO Landing to be held October 5-8 in Asheville, NC.

We are pleased to announce our keynote speaker for this years Oshkosh banquet, Mr. Sean Elliott, the EAA Vice President of Advocacy and Safety. You can read his EAA bio HERE(link is external). Sean will address our group on some of his efforts which include EAA's positions on the MOSAIC (Modernization of Special AIrworthiness Certification), and the unleaded fuels initiative(EAGLE), as well as his role as an examiner pilot on the legacy EAA aircraft such as the B17 "Aluminum Overcast" and the Ford Trimotor. We are very appreciative that Sean will speak and we know you will enjoy his presentation.
