LOBO Landing Comments

Forums:

I wanted to take a few minutes to post a few comments I received after emailing out the certificates from the landing and hope others will post their  comments: good, bad, or other: we are looking to improve each year.  Although I was thanked the heavy lifting was done by the other board members: Gainza’s, Pastusek’s, Rosel’s, and Sullivan’s.

George,

George,

I had a great time at the LOBO Landing. The time went by much too fast though! I’d love to recommend that a future Landing site be either near Mackinac Island, in Upper Michigan, or the Door County of Wisconsin. I’m afraid that if I do though, I’ll get volunteered to plan it!!

I’ve taken the Partner in Command class in the past, & always enjoy it. Matt did a great job again this year.

Thank you for the certificate.

I thought the Partner in Command training was excellent and very beneficial.  The ground school session provided very useful information.  The opportunity to ask questions and have further discussion was very helpful as well.  The laminated emergency checklist was a great idea, along with the ideas for what each individual can add to it as needed.

The in-cockpit instruction provided the opportunity to put to use what was taught in the ground school session, and actually execute the instructions making the whole learning experience more complete.

I enjoyed the landing, the fly girl events, and look forward to future training and landings!  Thank you to all who put so much time into making the landing possible!

Thank you George,

Nice job setting up the week, it was very informative.

Hi George,

LOBO Landing was great…the Board did an awesome job with the educational training and social schedule….as I’m a “rusty pilot” and not checked out in our Lancair, the Partner-in-Command training was quite helpful for being Ed’s co-pilot.

Enjoyed the Asheville venue…..

Thanks so much!
