Forums:

Dear Members,

Your LOBO board needs help and volunteers.

Currently we have the following positions open…

1. Director of “Safety & Training”.

2. Director of “Webmaster & Tech Support”.

3. Director of “Events & Sponsors”.

Please understand your current board has worked very hard at moving our agenda forward. This includes the new TRUST program, Landings and EAA activities, Training vs Accident data, etc. Without the great support from volunteers like you, these programs will struggle moving forward.

LOBO has so much to offer and ideas of how we wish to better serve our membership. Sponsorship of regional training events, quarterly newsletters, and the “LIFT Academy” (Lancair Instructor Flight Training) to name just a few.

Will you be the one to step up?... An energized Webmaster, knowledgeable Flight Instructor, and motivated Event Planner could be just the ticket to take LOBO to the next level.

Please consider volunteering for one of these positions and give me a call today!

I would also like to personally invite members to join us on any of our monthly LOBO board meetings. We typically meet via Zoom every second Monday of the month at 7pm CDT. ALL LOBO members are welcome to join us. Simply contact one of us and we will be happy to provide you a Zoom invitation via email.

Finally, communication is critical to any successful organization and we are no exception…

LOBOLive was recently implemented to our website in order to give you better service with unbiased/uncensored options and opinions compared to other “Talk” forums. Please continue to grow our new LOBOLive forum with your participation and comments.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,

Your LOBO President... George Rosel

I would like to second George

I would like to second George's request to ask for a few of you to consider joining the LOBO Board in one of these positions. I am currently working the Events and Sponsor position. I will have spent three years on the LOBO BOD when I step down  in October, and I highly recommend this job.  If you are considering this position, please know I will help and support my replacement with all of the materials and timelines needed to make this position easier. The LOBO BOD is a very good team and everyone has been extremely supportive of my ideas and thoughts. I hope one of you will consider carrying on our Landing and Banquet traditions.

Dear LOBO Members,

Dear LOBO Members,

Great news!! ...We have two new members that have volunteered to be on LOBO's Board of Directors.

Please welcome George Wehrung and Matt Speare. We are very excited they have chosen to join the LOBO BOD and we wish to take this time to offer them a great big..." THANK YOU".

George and Matt come highly qualified with impeccable resumes and they both are already on our LOBO endorsed instructor list as CFII's.

They have agreed to be LOBO's "Co-Directors" of our Safety and Training program. With their excitement, motivation and training experience we expect them to bring many new and great ideas to improve our program. Working together, they plan to also enhance what has already been established by our past Directors of Safety and Training, Jeff Edison and Jeff Edwards. I also wish to say thanks again to these two "Jeff's" for their past service.

George Wehrung currently offers training in the IV, ES, and Evolution series. He resides in Beaufort North Carolina.

Matt Speare currently offers training in the 200-300, Legacy, and ES series. He resides in Greensboro North Carolina.

Look for much visibility and announcements soon from George and Matt.

Please understand we need more volunteers don't hesitate to reach out to us with any talents you may wish to share.

See you at the Oshkosh banquet and the Asheville NC Landing.

Regards,

... George Rosel,

LOBO President

Congrats to the LOBO BOD.

Congrats to the LOBO BOD.  This is a big win!

If Matt and George will contact me, I’ll fill them in on all the projects I have laid the ground work on, and provide a status report to them for each program.  It is my hope that they will enlist additional assistance to tackle some of these bigger goals.

L.I.F.T. ,  An active Standardization Program, Clearly defined levels of LOBO training qualifications, full implementation and management of the T.R.U.S.T. Platform and continued FITS Certification just to name a few of the programs I worked so hard on.

The LOBO Safety and Training department has A LOT of work to do, but sounds like the BOD made two excellent choices to pick up these very important programs.

CONGRATS.

Jeff
