Near the end of this thread the idea of self funded group is discussed.  Is this something LOBO might look into and see if it would be a viable solution to the extreme cost and availability of insurance for the Lancair group?

I know it has been brought up.  I’m reposting it here to add to the LOBO Live discussion to encourage more involvement on this site.  One issue is finding someone who will spend the necessary time to research, put it into action and then manage it.  There are many people who offer ideas but no one steps up and says “I’ll do it”.

Filtered HTML

  • Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
  • Each email address will be obfuscated in a human readable fashion or, if JavaScript is enabled, replaced with a spam resistent clickable link. Email addresses will get the default web form unless specified. If replacement text (a persons name) is required a webform is also required. Separate each part with the "|" pipe symbol. Replace spaces in names with "_".
  • Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <cite> <blockquote> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd> <h1> <h2> <h3>
  • Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
